RESPITE PROGRAM INCLUSIONS
Our respites are for adults and children living with a disability, where you are able to try new things, meet new people and experience new places in a small group setting, with a strong focus on increasing independence. We provide 24/7 support throughout.
MEALS
All meals are included in the total cost of your STA funding. Most of the meals are cooked and prepared by participants with support of Respites leaders. We cater to your individual dietary needs and preferences.
These will be discussed this with you during the intake process. Where possible we like to include a night eating out-please note this is subject to location and availability.

ACCOMODATION &
TRANSPORT
We offer pickups between Mossman an Townsville including the tablelands. There are various accommodation options depending on which Respite is selected. These are outlined in the Respite description below and include various hotel style accommodation, respite houses and camping.
We encourage wheelchair uses to attend our respites and suggest that you register as soon as you can so we can secure accessible transport and accommodation.

Cairns- Red hot summer tour!
Friday 12th May-Monday 15th May
Join us to attend the Red Hot Summer tour in Cairns! This respite we will be doing it backwards starting in Townsville!
The Red Hot Summer tour line-up includes Paul Kelly, Missie Higgins, Troy Cassa-Daley and many more. It is imperative to RSVP for this respite as soon as possible to secure tickets and accommodation.

Between Townsville and Cairns.
This respite includes x3 nights in apartment style accommodation and is inclusive of all meals, activities and transport.

Cobbold Gorge
Wednesday 28th June-Monday July 2nd
Join on a road respite to visit one of FNQ's secret hideaways- Cobbold Gorge. This respite is longer than usual to allow for the extra travel time and lots of fun along the way.
Pick ups:
Cairns, Mossman and table lands.
This respite includes x1 night at Innot hot springs
x2 nights at Cobbold Gorge
x1 night Undara Volcano National Park

All Ladies weekend- Mission Beach
Friday 16th- Monday 19th May
One for the Ladie's! join us for a relaxing and pampering weekend to Mission Beach.

This respite includes x3 nights accommodation at Mission Beach resort and is inclusive of all meals, activities and transport.

Friday 21st- Monday 24th July
Calling all Footy Fans! Join us for a respite to Townsville to watch the Cowboys and enjoy a funfilled weekend exploring all Townsville has to offer!
Pick ups :
Between Mossman and Townsville and start early on the Friday morning returning Monday around late afternoon!
This respite includes x3 nights in apartment style accommodation and is inclusive of all meals, activities and Transport.

Friday 20th- Monday 23rd October
Join us for a Magnetic island adventure ro relax, unwind and enjoy all this beautiful place has to offer!
