We were looking for a respite organisation who Alec and us as a family felt comfortable and secure with and met his individual needs. Respite provides us all with a much needed break. Inner Aura delivered with providing a break for Alec that was tailored to his needs and engaged him with the activities and experiences he loves. The staff at Inner Aura left us all at ease and we felt very comfortable in booking Alec in to the Great Ocean Road Getaway. Amy & Eddie were amazing with the participants providing them with reassurance and ensuring their needs were met. Amy and Eddy were a perfect match for the participant group and made sure the activities were fun and their was much engagement and laughter. Inner Aura were so easy to deal with and even arranged transfers pick ups and drop offs. Nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to Alec’s next adventure with them. Amy & Eddy were absolute legends. I would highly recommend Inner Aura.

My name is Suzie and I am on my second NDIS plan. I found it hard to find the right support that suited my personality and needs. I am a very active, fun loving person, who adores my family and who loves to be out and about and to me, being active in the community, meeting new people and trying new things was a priority for me. I first attended a Magnetic island trip at the end of 2022, with 2 other people and Inner Aura support workers. I was nervous and excited about going on my first trip as I had never done respite before, but knew it was important for me to have a break from my usual lifestyle. I was able to completely wind down on the Inner Aura trip and to go back to my home feeling content and already planning my next trip away with Inner Aura. Since this trip I have been working with Amy 1:1 in the community on a Thursday. We go for walks, play golf and are looking for some activities for us to do in the local community centres. I have also been on 2 group respite weekends since Magnetic island, I have met some lovely people. Amy does a wonderful group respite weekends and goes above and beyond to care for each person's individual needs. The last group respite I went on was a girls pampering weekend to Innot hot springs. It was exactly what I needed, total relaxing vibes.

Support Services

My name is Amy and I am the director of Inner Aura Support Services. I have been working in the disability sector for 15 years, my most recent position before venturing out to my own business I was a specialist support coordinator supporting participants on the NDIS to link in with services and support for 4 years.

The skills I gained in this previous role will assist me to answer questions you may have about the NDIS and what you can use your funding for and linking in with community and mainstream services.
